Information we process
Account and contact details, farm profiles and locations, crops, harvests, sales, buyers, expenses, input usage, FarmCare, optional photos, support requests and record activity. Participation points and trust assessments are derived from records and verification. Do not enter unnecessary personal information about other people.
How information is used
To store and display your records, calculate stock and performance, synchronise changes, provide support, verify records and build agricultural production intelligence. Authorised Global Crops staff can review farm records and evidence.
Buyers, customers and community
Business profiles, procurement entries, supply requests, customer orders and rewards ledgers are stored with your account and available to authorised staff. Reliability is assessed separately from points. Buyers see anonymous aggregated regional availability. Public batch pages show staff-approved details; a farm name appears only with farmer consent. Public reviews and questions are moderated before publication. Crop performance is shared in aggregate only when sufficient verified data exists.
Services involved
Kinde handles sign-in and verification emails. Hosting infrastructure stores records and photos. Address and location lookup uses Photon; map display loads OpenStreetMap resources. These services receive information needed for their functions. Data may be processed outside your country.
Photos, location and sharing
Camera and location are used when you choose the relevant feature. You can deny permissions and enter an address manually. Public profiles are optional; only the details you choose are shared through that feature. Revoke sharing in the app when it is no longer needed.
Device storage and security
Cookies support sign-in sessions. Preferences, drafts and pending photos can be stored on your device for synchronisation. Do not clear storage before pending records finish uploading. The app uses HTTPS connections and authenticated access to records. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Records support your farm history while your account is in use. You can request correction, export or deletion. Our team reviews deletion requests and confirms the scope, any retention requirements and status by email. Backup copies may have a separate removal process.
Operational diagnostics
We collect account-linked storage totals, feature request counts, response times and error counts to manage capacity and reliability. Performance summaries are retained for up to 30 days. These diagnostics do not include form contents, precise location, error messages or photos. Authorised staff can set upload limits; stored records are not deleted when a limit is reached.
Farmer identity verification
When this feature is available and you consent, a photo of the front of your own Malaysian IC is stored privately and encrypted in AWS S3 in Malaysia for Super Admin identity review. Images are excluded from farm galleries, ordinary exports and public profiles. There is no automatic 30-day deletion. Images are retained while needed for verification and related investigations; deletion can be requested through Support. Access and review decisions are logged. IC photos are not saved as offline drafts.
Your choices
Manage camera and location permissions on your device, select public-profile details, export records or contact us for help. The account-deletion page can be used even after uninstalling the app.
